Very easy access from the motorway, and brilliant receptionist who ensured we had a suitable room and also organised our overnight stay on the way back. The adjacent restaurant, accessed from the hotel lobby, was very welcome and well used by locals. Breakfast in the lobby had reasonable choices, though perhaps not the most comfortable environment . We travel with two small dogs and were able to do a walk nearby.

Room was clean, breakfast average for this sort of accommodation, but available early which was good, comfortable room but too hot for me and could not open a window. Very convenient not far off autoroute, 2 hours from Calais and had a reasonable and good value restaurant separate but on same site. Dogs accommodated.

Location was convenient to the motorway. Room was on the ground floor and had patio doors opening onto a green area. There were electronic blinds so it was possible to leave doors open at night and still be secure. The hotel had a very good restaurant alongside where breakfast was taken. Choice of food was good and I would say it was well worth the money. We took dinner in the restaurant and it was fine, being steak and chips and wine. Pizzas, salads and burgers were also on the menu.

We were en route to Italy, and needed an easy, dog friendly, overnight stop. This hotel was perfect. Easy to access from (and back to) the motorway, clean and friendly. The rooms are a good size, and comfortable, with their own door to the outside, ideal for those travelling with a dog. Electric shutters provide shade from the sun, an important point given the the temperature outside was over 30, and there is no air conditioning. The breakfast was particularly good, better than many hotels, with an excellent and fresh selection.

We had a great stay at Kyriad Laon. It has everything you need. An amazing price for this hotel room. Will stay there again when we go that way.

Nice sized room, patio door to grassed area, great restaurant attached to the hotel, nice lobby area and bar. Friendly staff (mostly). Laon itself is worth exploring - fascinating Cathedral and old town.

excellent location on route to Alps. Travelling with dogs so needed somewhere just off the main route but sufficiently rural that we could walk them. Made to feel very welcome. Incredible value. Staff very friendly and helpful. Restaurant on site which were also happy for dogs to join us. Ground floor with patio doors straight out onto the car park and a grassy area. Helpful for those last night toilet breaks for dogs. This is the third time we have stayed here and will again I’m sure.

Reception was lovely - spoke English for us and was very helpful when we asked about walking to the local town. Breakfast definitely worth having - best variety of food we came across during our road trip. Good value for money. Car parking good and felt safe. Good location - we used as stop off before going back through tunnel and long drive next day. Would use as starting point other way too in future

Superb large room with good bathroom inc great shower , large comfortable bed, very dog friendly hotel with grassed garden areas all around , all staff very friendly and helpful, parking also felt nice and safe/ secure. Superb value. Will def use again on next drive down and back
